UDJ Ski Team Preview
December 9, 2021
As the winter sports season gets underway many people are up to speed with what is transpiring with the basketball, hockey, and swim teams at the Jez. There is one team however, that seems to be flying under the radar but looking to make some noise. That’s right, you guessed it the second best winter activity behind snowboarding, skiing. Coming into the 2021-2022 season the team is looking to pick up right where they left off and make a strong run at states this year.

Senior Timothy Cooper had this to say about his team in an interview earlier this week, “ As a team I think we have a lot of potential, we have a lot of good freshmen that are eager to get on the hill. We just need to teach them the right ways and form really. A good majority of the guys have been going up north to Nubs Nob or out west to prepare for the season. I think it is going to be a great year for sure.” If the rest of the team is just as confident as TCoop, the rest of the state is in for some tough competition.
