This week closes the intramural football season for the 2024-2025 school year. The commissioner of the U of D Jesuit intramural league, Mr. Dillion, reflects on the league’s progress since he has taken over the league. Mr. Dillon tells the Cub News that he is, “honored that I have the opportunity to keep that tradition going and hopefully improve on it if possible.” This year, Mr. Dillion will debut medals for winning homeroom along with the coveted I.M. Champions T-shirt. Ms. Godwin’s senior homeroom 4D, was the first homeroom to earn these medals despite a shaky start to the season, including the injury of Dominic Macaroni ’25 during one game. Referees Mr. Carr, Mr. Devine, Mr. Schuman, Mr. Comment ‘14, and Mr. Houghtby ‘19 all noted the sportsmanship of all Cub students involved.
