Thursday, November 21st, The Celtics were invited to the White House to meet with Joe Biden and celebrate their NBA Championship win! They got to talk about basketball and enjoy a day with President Biden. The Celtics were introduced and Biden got to keep his own Celtics Jersey with his name on it. The team was able to enter the Oval Office and sit where the President conducts work every day. Derrick White said, “I didn’t really know what to expect”. Overall, this event was really uplifting for the team and everyone between President Biden, the White House Staff, and the Boston Celtics enjoyed themselves.
