Welcome Letter from the Cub News Editor in Chief
September 14, 2021
I’m Vincent Buehner, senior editor of the 2021-2022 Cub News team. This is the first official edition of the Cub News this year, and I’m sure you can all tell that something’s different: it’s online. I know most of the school’s wondering why. Last year was a mess due to COVID, and that included the News. We put out two successful editions, but those were the orientation and end-of-year papers. By the time last year’s staff had figured out a productive way to manufacture a quality publication, second semester was almost over. The News staff had to change things up, and online was the best option in 2020. We’re giving it another shot this year. The main goal, to hammer it home, is to have people really visit our website and read the articles we put out. This year’s Advanced Journalism class is hard at work making the aforementioned articles, and we’d like people to admire the effort they’ve put into writing these. If you have any questions about what our plan is this year, or if you’d like to know more about the paper and how to write for it, please feel free to email me at VB211973@student.uofdjesuit.org, or Cub News moderator Miss Estes at email@example.com. Thank you so much for visiting the website, and have a great year, Cubs!
