Signing Day!

February 24, 2022

The 7 seniors signing their letters of intent.

Even though it’s only February, the year is wrapping up quickly, especially for all the seniors who have their last day of high school in the beginning of May. On February 9, seven of them were blessed with the opportunity of signing their letters of intent to play their respective sports at the collegiate level.

Ryan Kruse (baseball) and Mike Mathis (football) both stated that they are ready and excited for the experience of playing sports at the next level. Joe Wager, who committed to Siena Heights University for bowling, has his sights set even higher though. When asked about his goals concerning his athletic career, he stated “I want to prove to myself that I can do this, I want to prove that I can compete at the next level and beyond.” When asked a follow up question about if he intends to go pro after college, he responded, “Absolutely”. There are definitely bright futures on the horizon for all of these student athletes and we wish them the best of luck once they graduate from the High.
