COVID-19 has brought a lot of changes into our world, especially in the MLB. Not only did they have to change from the normal 162 game format to a 60 game season, they also have made changes to the postseason landscape as they had eight teams from each pennant. Also, something new to the MLB this year is a bubble postseason. They will have 4 host sites: San Diego, Los Angeles CA, Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth TX.

The AL and NLDS finished up with the Tampa Bay Rays beating the Yankees in 5 games and The Houston Astros beating the Oakland A’s in 4 games. On the NL side of the bracket, the Atlanta Braves beat the Miami Marlins in 3 games and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the San Diego Padres in 3 games. The AL and NLCS took place in San Diego and Dallas-Fort Worth and they were both heart-stopping series. The under .500 Astros put up a good fight against the low-payroll A.L East Champs in the Tampa Bay Rays, who had the best record in the A.L. and the Los Angeles Dodgers came back from a 3-1 deficit against the Atlanta Braves in Dallas-Fort Worth.

The Dodgers and Rays are both playing at their highest levels. The Dodgers will look to finally win it all after having come so close for so long and, on the other hand, the Rays look to upset the Dodgers and officially  claim their spot as a top team in the league. This series is sure to be a classic end to an unforgettable season.
