The dance drought at the High is coming to an end! After almost two years with no dances, U of D Jesuit will host a James Bond themed Homecoming dance on Saturday, September 18. The dance will begin at 7 PM and conclude at 10 PM.

Leading up to the dance will be a jammed packed spirit week, with themes ranging from pajama day to beach day (see picture below for details). Spirit week will take place Monday, September 13 through Friday, September 17, culminating with a pep rally before the Homecoming football game which will take place under the lights, Friday night at Catholic Central.

If you are still unsure about going to Homecoming, step out of your comfort zone and go. Homecoming is an incredible way to make high school memories that you will remember forever. Danny Miller ‘22 remarks that “You don’t get many dances in high school so make sure you make it to each one before they are gone.” Homecoming provides a great way to party with your friends in a fun and upbeat atmosphere, and really Cubs, you only have about five dances during your time at the High. Paul Tackett ‘22 states that everyone should attend Homecoming because “you will regret it later on if you don’t.” If you need more information on Homecoming, please refer to the rules sheet below.
